Herbal Tea and Tea Consumption Benefits
Tea just under water is the most consumed drink in the world. Tea has been a main ingredient in the Orientals diet for centuries. Many Orientals claim tea is the main ingredient for their good health and longevity of life.

Green teas are the favorite tea in the Orient and are now becoming a favorite in the Western World. Black tea is still the favorite tea in the Western World though. Herbal tea is a mixture of herbs enjoyed by the whole world.

Herbal tea does not come from the plant Camellia Sinensis; it is made from herbs of different ingredients to make a wide variety of teas. All teas are found to help in keeping a person healthy in the world today.
Tea today is known to carry antioxidant polyphenols cancer fighting properties. Studies have shown by drinking 4 to 6 cups of tea a day may prevent certain cancers and lower blood pressures. Green tea and white tea are teas processed the least and are called green tea because they are not processed over a long period of time.

Black tea also carries polyphenols but undergoes a long processing process. Black teas are partially dried, crushed and fermented in their processing, which darkens the tea. Tea now has been listed by the ORAC to be equal or higher in antioxidants with fruit and vegetables.
Teas mixed with fruit are becoming the most drank tea due to the many flavors of tea available. Herbal tea is not actually a tea because it does not derive from the plant Camellia Sinensis but rather is a mixture of many different herbs and fruits. Many of the herbs used for herbal tea have been used for centuries throughout the Orient, and are now becoming popular in the Western World.

Teas have many health benefits when drank on a daily basis, being full of antioxidants. Chamomile tea is great for calming nerves, Hibiscus flowered teas are great for weight reduction and peppermint herbal tea is noted for curing an upset stomach. Mixed Teas with marigold plant stimulate the liver and it has anti-inflammatory properties.

Herbal teas also make a most delicious drink, with the fruit being dried and mixed with herbs or other fruits. Herbal teas are delicious both hot and cold and you receive the health benefits either way.
Mixed teas have no need to be bought at the market. Herbal ingredients can be found or grown in your back yard for your pleasure. Mixed  teas can be brought about also by mixing herbs and fruits to actual teas, black, green, oolong or white tea. Teas mixed with fruit  have amazing anti-inflammatory action and can reduce the effects of arthritis with cranberry, apple, rosehips, and hibiscus leaves.

Naturally sweet and tart cranberries are used to maintain heart health and preventing urinary tract infections. Blackberries & strawberry pieces, rosehips, hibiscus leaves with Black berries are high in tannin, which tightens tissue and lessens minor bleeding. High in vitamin C and E and elligic acid blackberries may also provide some protection against chronic disease and cancer.
With the health of teas and the delicious varieties it is one of the best ways to staying healthy.
